Re: Mainstream News Media still no Volt owner testimonials ?

Most of the mainstream press and some automotive press do not understand the Volt, or get the data wrong. Before I bought my Volt I thought that the Prius was the king of the road for mpg. Boy, was I wrong! I have put over 3600 miles on my Volt after taking delivery on June 15, 2011 and I have a lif...

Re: 3883 WOO HOO! Level 2 anyone?

Hi Vic, I got a call from the SPX scheduling people last Tuesday afternoon (day before my scheduled install) to tell me that the Columb charging units would not be available until September 1st. I was told that there was an update in place. I now am also scheduled for a September 7th install. We sha...

Re: 3883 WOO HOO! Level 2 anyone?

Hi Victor, I got an e-mail last week confirming that the electrician would be out on Wednesday, August 15th to install the L2 Columb unit. They figure it will take 4 to 5 hours or so. laptop vs smartphone question

:?: How do you set up your laptop computer to check on status of the Volt's charge, etc.? I do not have a droid or iphone and would like to access this data if possible from my laptop.
Thank you.

Re: 3883 WOO HOO! Level 2 anyone?

Congrats on your Volt 3883! I (have Volt 3868 and) have had the SPX union contractor out to my (Southern CA) home to do a proposal. I have two proposals; one for $1,376.00 which is putting two 20 amp fuses in; running conduit abut 60 feet; installing the L-2 Columb Tech unit. We have a $1,200 instal...

Re: PRNDL - Anyone use L?

I also was asked by my Volt Advisor Ryan if I had tried my Volt in "L". I had not, so the next morning I tried it from my home to the freeway onramp, which is slightly downhill. When I left I had a battery charge showing 44 (estimated) miles, when I arrived at the freeway onramp I was show...
