Re: Driving in low gear

I like how low slows me down and I don't have to move my foot much. It's funny how I tend to automatically lift my foot now and slow myself at the right moment. I don't know though about the battery mileage because I ran the whole battery down today and my total miles driven on the battery was 39. ...

Good Morning SpaceCadet, I apologize to hear about the traction with your Volt. I would make your Volt Advisor aware of the concern as well as have ...

Eric,

The alarms drive me crazy too. Can't comment about the UPA's functionality, at least not yet.

Re: Volt handling at Dealer's Facility

Thom, Thanks. I was finally able to find out the real history of the car. The biggest problem was the salesman, he had the history of the car completely wrong. Swirls in Black Painted Surfaces?

Has anyone with else owning a Volt with black painted trim noticed a significant number of swirls in the paint? These micro-scratches in the clear coat are often caused by car wash employees drying the car with a rough terry cloth towel. My dealer insists that all Volts show swirls in the back paint...

Has anyone else ordered a spare tire for their Volt? If so, did you also order a jack? If so, from whom?

Re: Sunroof

Do you have any idea how much headroom was lost with the installation of the sun roof?

Re: Sunroof

I'd like to see photos as well. I take delivery of my Volt this week and I'd be interested in taking it over to the local Classic Soft Trim affiliate if the work done for you was good.

Re: Cooling System Problems?

OK, here's the story. A fitting on one of the coolant tanks was accidentally damaged during the recall operation to add bracing to the battery. No fault of the cooling system, just a tech who was not as careful as he/she should have been.
