Filed my Federal return with Form 8936 indicated the VIN and date placed into service. This is all you need! The VIN has all the info about the vehicle. GM filed the Manufacturer's Ceritifcation for us. Volt weighs about 3700 lbs. and has 16 KWh battery.

Yes! It snowed in Denver the weekend of Nov. 10-11 and I gave it a test. It was in the teens, so the ground was very icy.
