Re: Code UO16B - what to do

Im not sure you said what model year your is, but I have a 2011 and here is a link to the manual. Im pretty sure you looked through a manual already, but the fuse locations are listed starting at section 10-33 https://my.chevrolet.com/content/dam/gmownercenter/gmna/dynamic/manuals/2011/chevrolet/vol...

Re: Code UO16B - what to do

Did you see the response over on your post at gm-volt.com? The guy asked if you had anything plugged in the OBD port, if so remove that. I found that to be very interesting. Just a few days ago I plugged in one of those bluetooth OBD devices to monitor with mygreenvolt app. I parked my car in the ga...

Re: Code UO16B - what to do

Here is something I found: when a U-code names a module. That U-code also doesn’t necessarily mean that the non-communicative module is defective – just that it isn’t talking. It could have lost power, ground or a communication line, and we’ve even heard of a U-code traced to a poor battery ground f...

Re: Backup Camera not working

let me know if you get it working. I would "jiggle" the camera again if it's not working, see if it might be a connection problem. Curious to find out if you solve it.

Re: Backup Camera not working

try this link:

Seems like with some people that have had this problem, it fixed itself. Also one mentioned to push in on the camera lens itself, might be a loose connection

No display on trip odometer

I have a 2011 Volt. When you turn the select knob it cycles through Trip A, Trip B, Oil Life, Tire Pressure, etc.... When I turn on the car, the Trip A only has 4 dashes where the mileage and used fuel is normally displayed. It seems to go back to normal if I turn the select button to the Oil Life p...

Re: 2013 Volt charging problems

So I'm guessing it is working normally now? After reading your post, I think the biggest problem is the dealer where you took the car. I would bet the charge port did NOT need to be replaced. Did you have any "check engine" light, warning messages? I had a "service high voltage system...

Re: Replacement Charger - Recommendations

My suggestions would be eBay, just a quick search showed a few on there for sale. As for my other suggestion, I have a 240V charger from Clipper Creek. They also sell four different level 1 chargers, the one that would fit your needs is $395. I do not have any experienece with any other brands. Hope...

Re: 2017 Volt battery - how low does it discharge?

I have written a response to a similiar question, but I don't have the exact figures so I will give a "general" idea what is happening. Again, I don't recall the exact number, but the Volt only uses about 70% of the battery. It will NOT fully charge, say it stops charging at 90% battery ca...

Re: Two coolant reservoirs?

One for the gas engine, one for the High Voltage battery. The Volt battery has its own cooling and heating system UNLIKE the Nissan Leaf.
