Volt on the way!

Postby goyogi » Fri Dec 17, 2010 11:25 am

My Volt is produced and should be at Concord Chevrolet soon! Maybe next week? Anyone else at Concord Chevrolet been built at the same time? One thought is that they build them according to the area for shipping purposes.

12/16/2010 - (3800) Order produced and vehicle is being prepared for shipping. (Cadillac, GMC and Buick customers please contact your dealer or customer service for further updates. No further updates available at this time.)

Chewy, what dealer did you get yours from? I am with Putnam Chevy in Burlingame, current status 4150 according to ChevyConnects.com, but have no idea where mine is, could be rail, could be truck. I think all of California is getting rail except for the lucky few in SoCal (like sgc) who got theirs by truck so that GM could do a media event. My volt advisor told me it was coming by rail and would be here "early next week", but based on gm-volt posts of a guy in San Diego who's Volt is coming by rail, his Volt is still in Kentucky so has a long way to go. I am very interested to hear any other news of NorCal Volt deliveries or shipping details.

Hey All,

You should be able to post photos either by putting an image link in the forums or uploading an attached file. Let me know if you have any issues. I'll also have a post very soon on NorCal Volts :)

Picked my white volt up in salinas yesterday. Nice car. Very smooth and quiet. Good acceleration. Vin 192

Drove to san jose and back for an Xmas party. Gas mileage about 33.

Still figuring out the screens and such. She's charging next to my sparrow now.

Anymore in california yet?

Very Nice Mudfud!

How is it that you are in Salinas and Berkeley? Seems a bit of a drive if you ask me :P

I am in Berkeley as well, and am thinking about doing a Bay Area Volt Meet - Up in the near future if we get enough interested parties.

I am also planning on adding a Chevy Volt DIY Detailing Section to the site in the near future. I do most of my own auto detailing. So stay tuned for that.

Cheers

Patrick
